Clarivate buying ProQuest to provide ‘end-to-end’ R&D services

  

$5.3 billion acquisition includes parent company of Research Professional News

Clarivate, a company that provides services such as data analytics to the innovation sector, is acquiring the research and library-focused ProQuest for a total of $5.3 billion.

ProQuest owns the higher education services provider ExLibris, which is the publisher of Research Professional News, while Clarivate runs the Web of Science citation database.
