Research community “should have been better prepared” in its response to Covid-19, Cochrane report concludes

Greater transparency and wiser investments in research will be needed to reduce ongoing inequalities in the response to Covid-19, a major report into global health-emergency preparedness has urged.

The conclusions in the newly published report are based on a meeting of key leaders from around the world, called Cochrane Convenes and hosted by health network non-profit group Cochrane with the Covid-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (Covid-End) in October 2021.
