Early career physicists want open access but face financial barriers

One in seven prevented from publishing OA due to lack of funding, study finds

A global study has revealed that the majority of early career physicists want to publish with open access, but they face financial barriers in doing so.

More than 3,000 physical science researchers across the globe took part in the study from a group of physics publishers: AIP publishing, the American Physical Society, IOP Publishing and Optica Publishing Group.
