World’s wealthiest charities partner on global health R&D

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Novo Nordisk Foundation and Wellcome launch $300 million initiative

The world’s wealthiest charities have partnered to support global health R&D with $300 million.

The US-based Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation, the Danish Novo Nordisk Foundation and UK-based Wellcome have committed $100m (£79m) each to support R&D for accessible and affordable health solutions for people in low- and middle-income countries.
