Brazil plans to send emergency buildings to its Antarctic base to ensure the continuity of research there following the destruction of its former base by fire.
Brazil’s Antarctic research has been at a standstill since the February blaze that destroyed its Comandante Ferraz research base in Admiralty Bay on King George Island, killing two soldiers.
