The Japan International Cooperation Agency and three Brazilian ministries agreed to work together on disaster risk management and response on 29 January.
“The signing of this memorandum may help Brazil learn from the high degree of development that Japan has in this area,” said Carlos Nobre, secretary of research and development policies in Brazil’s ministry of science, technology and innovation.
