Canada’s Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council is to provide C$36 million to encourage collaboration between academic researchers, industry and government.
“This funding will allow companies to increase their research and development activities in Canada by maximising the expertise and knowledge of our researchers,” Gary Goodyear, the minister of state for science and technology, announced in Montreal last week.
