Brazil is continuing to promote projects to increase the participation of women in science and technology, after government departments signed a cooperative agreement on 13 March.
As a result, a programme for improving science education in schools and encouraging young women to pursue careers in science—Girls and Youth Doing Science—will be developed. There will also be a public call for projects to support women in universities.
