Brazil's government and its national space agency have agreed to improve the country’s performance in space R&D.
The Brazilian Space Agency and Abdi, the government’s agency for innovation and industrial development, signed a deal on 20 November committing the two organisations to carrying out joint research projects and coordinating their planning for 3 years.
Initial collaborative projects are likely to include a study of the commercial viability of a suborbital rocket for the domestic industry, as well as studies on technology for small satellites.
