Brazil pushes for innovation collaboration

Brazilian science minister Gilberto Kassab has promoted cross-border initiatives in biotechnology and nanotechnology while on a state visit to Portugal.

Kassab emphasised “the importance of partnership between countries to achieve scientific and technological development”, according to a Brazilian government news release.

Kassab made the comments on 12 July at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, where he said he was “enthusiastic” about potential collaborations with Brazilian nanotechnology institutes.
