An open-access journal focused on Arctic science is to be launched by Canadian Science Publishing.
The interdisciplinary journal, Arctic Science, will publish research from all areas of natural science and applied science and engineering related to northern polar regions, including the traditional knowledge and observations of the indigenous peoples.
Greg Henry, a geographer at the University of British Columbia, has been appointed as editor-in-chief of the journal, which will be launched in December. It will begin accepting papers within the next few months.
