St Thomas becomes institutional member of Royal Society of Canada

St Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, has joined the Royal Society of Canada as an institutional member. The university, Canada’s only exclusively undergraduate liberal arts institution, is the society’s 50th institutional member.

“We are looking forward to the benefits of this membership in the Royal Society, it will generate even more opportunities for interaction between our university and the wider society,” said Dawn Russell, the university’s president and vice-chancellor.

Those benefits will include greater recognition of the university’s academics, and participation in events organised by the society.
