The innovation organisation Mitacs has signed a deal to promote undergraduate and postgraduate research exchanges between Canada and Tunisia.
The agreement, signed on 15 April, is part of the organisation’s Globalink programme. It will allow 15 students from each country to pursue research projects in the other country each year, starting in 2016.
“Today’s agreement with Tunisia will provide new opportunities for Canadian faculty and universities to benefit from students’ international perspectives, while showing young researchers the breadth of Canadian research opportunities available,” said Eric Bosco, the chief business development and partnerships officer at Mitacs.
