Indian scientists are developing robotic soldiers that will be capable of serving in the country’s army, reports the Malaysian news agency Bernama.
“We are working to create robot soldiers which could function like humans. Such robot needs a data base, an artificial intelligence to implement its tasks – and the DRDO plans to make such a robot,” Vijay Kumar, head of the country’s Defense Research and Development Organisation, said at a press conference on 13 December.
