India and France to establish virtual maths institute

India and France have signed an agreement to establish a virtual institute for applied mathematics in a bid to launch joint research projects in the area, reports China Daily.

The agreement was signed by India’s Department of Science and Technology and France’s National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS). It comes in addition to two other agreements signed in the areas of immunology and informatics.
