China plans to establish an aquaculture research centre in a disputed area of the South China Sea.
The site is the city of Sansha located in the Manbu Ansha area, a submerged shoal in the Zhongsha Islands, officials at the Hainan provincial department of ocean and fisheries said on 5 July, according to Xinhua news agency.
