India’s biotech ministry to collaborate with Cambridge university

India's Department of Biotechnology has committed £11 million to a joint medical research project with the University of Cambridge, UK.

Researchers will combine methods from genetics, chemistry, cell biology, biochemistry and imaging to create new approaches to the treatment of diseases, including cancer, a Cambridge University spokesman is reported as saying in The Hindu newspaper.
