China’s Wang Xi elected science council president

Wang Xi, vice-president of the China Association for Science and Technology, will be the president of the Science Council of Asia from next year.

Wang was elected during a council session, the association announced on 29 June. His term of office will begin in June 2018, and he will hold the post for two years.
