Iran has signed a series of agreements with neighbouring Iraq following a visit by the Iranian First Vice President, Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, to Iraq, the Chinese news agency, Xinhua, has reported on 6 July.
Rahimi and the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, held a meeting in the Baghdad Green Zone, which houses some Iraqi government offices and foreign embassies.
