£8m fund is open for research seeking to protect Pacific islands from climate change

The UK Space Agency is calling for research proposals that will harvest satellite data to protect Pacific island countries from the impact of climate change.

The £8 million project comes as part of a new partnership between the UK body and Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, and is part of a wider call for projects from the UK’s International Partnership Programme (IPP).
