University sets up scholarship fund and provides accommodation for firefighters and evacuees
Charles Sturt University in regional New South Wales will offer six scholarships, worth $5,000 each, to help students who have been affected by Australia’s bushfire crisis.
The university, which has seven campuses in major rural towns across the state, has allocated $30,000 to set up the Charles Sturt Bushfire Scholarship Fund. The university will also match any donations to the fund made by the public.
