Vice-chancellors’ group responds to Migration Advisory Committee consultation on future immigration system

The benefits of the government’s proposed Australian points-based system could be achieved through reforms to the UK’s existing skilled worker visa route, Universities UK has suggested.

The vice-chancellors’ group was responding to a consultation by the Migration Advisory Committee on the proposed system and on the current £30,000 salary threshold level of the visa route.
