Nuclear energy agency, universities and Multiwave get the green light for further studies
The European Commission has announced continued funding for the M-ONE project, a collaboration that aims to revolutionise ultra-high field imaging of the brain.
The project is the latest step in researching the use of metamaterials—composite materials engineered to achieve unique electromagnetic properties—its supporters say. The research is being done in collaboration between Switzerland-based technological company Multiwave Technologies, Aix-Marseille University, France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) and the Catholic University of Louvain.
