Eugene Oteng-Ntim is first Black researcher appointed to panel following criticism of initial membership
The UK government has moved to address criticism of a lack of diversity on a panel set up to drive research culture reform, with the appointment of three additional people, including the first Black member.
Eugene Oteng-Ntim, a consultant obstetrician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust—and an honorary professor of obstetrics at King’s College London—is now listed among the membership of the steering group for the R&D people and culture strategy.
