Christopher Smith argues for long-term, stable funding system following cuts to aid-funded research projects
UK Research and Innovation’s champion for international research has said the UK needs a stable funding model for international collaboration following unprecedented cuts to ongoing research projects funded by the aid budget.
“The financial pressures have shown that volatile funding models are bad for science,” UKRI’s Christopher Smith told a Westminster Forum event on 28 April.
