Life Sciences Vision promises new ways of working following pandemic to tackle seven disease missions
The government has promised to build on the scientific successes the country has produced during the Covid-19 pandemic in a 10-year plan to overhaul the UK life sciences sector targeting seven disease ‘missions’.
“We are indebted to the ingenuity of UK life sciences and its pioneers, with the discovery of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and the seamless collaboration between our scientists, industry, regulators and NHS saving millions of lives during the pandemic,” said prime minister Boris Johnson.
