European Space Agency launches clutch of cutting-edge instruments into orbit
The European Space Agency has successfully put three mini satellites or ‘cubesats’ into orbit to test prototype technologies for activities such as detecting space weather.
Developed with Esa support, the three satellites—Sunstorm, Radcube and Ledsat—were lofted from the agency’s main launch site in French Guiana on 16 August.
