Switzerland mulls ways to support startups and keep them from EU

Companies need help with technology transfer, internationalisation, labour access and financing, review finds

The Swiss government is working on ways to make the country more hospitable to innovative startup companies, after a review warned that they are in danger of moving to the EU.

On 25 August, Switzerland’s executive Federal Council asked the government’s research and justice departments to flesh out ideas for helping such companies to grow, based on the review of the startup environment.
