Health researchers will need to communicate findings to study participants under new requirements
England’s regulator of health and social care research has introduced reporting requirements aimed at making health and social care research more transparent.
Starting on 15 September, the Health Research Authority will require researchers in these fields to submit information to the HRA after completing their study, including a lay summary of their results for publication on the authority’s website, “ensuring research participants can easily find and understand the outcome of the studies”.
