Private foundation dishes out grants to study healthcare access and tackle social inequality
The Fondation des Entreprises du Médicament, a foundation run by pharmaceutical companies, has chosen 10 innovative projects to receive funding under its second Innovating Patient Healthcare Pathways scheme.
The call for projects aroused interest from 82 institutions and resulted in 10 winning projects, which will share a total grant of €250,000, the foundation said. Jean-Luc Harousseau, president of the foundation and professor of haematology, said the funding would contribute to improving equality in France.
