Australian health researchers call for increased MRFF spending

   

Inquiry hears that proposed cap of A$650 million annually should instead be “an absolute minimum”

A Senate inquiry into the Medical Research Future Fund has heard that the fund is in a good position to spend more money than it currently does.

Several health research bodies have said that they want the MRFF’s proposed A$650 million annual cap on spending to become a floor.
