Consultation follows controversial move to scrap Pathways to Impact requirement from applications in 2020
The national funder UK Research and Innovation is consulting on the role of impact in grant proposals two years after it controversially scrapped the Pathways to Impact requirement from its applications.
The consultation, launched on 10 January, will be used to make improvements to UKRI’s funding processes and will inform a new reference guide on the topic of maximising impact within applications, the funder said.
