Learned society trying out new selection process as it opens applications for small research grants
The British Academy is trialling a partially randomised system for selecting successful bids for its small research grants, which opened for applications this week.
The academy expects the system to be fairer and is working to ensure people are aware of the three-year trial during this year’s applications process for the grants of up to £10,000.
