Chris Skidmore has three months to make recommendations on “economically efficient” path to net zero

Chris Skidmore has today launched a rapid review that aims to ensure the government’s 2050 net zero target is “pro-business” and “pro-growth”.

Over the next three months the former science and universities minister aims to talk to as many people in as many sectors and regions as possible to come up with new policy ideas to ensure the economy is still boosted during the ‘green transition’.
