Students and universities warn the move will have dire consequences for education and student prospects
The Danish government’s plans to shorten some master’s programmes from two years to one have caused consternation among higher education institutions and students.
Responding to the plans, which were presented on 26 September, universities and student unions said they feared the proposed changes would have negative consequences for the future of students. “No one finds a job easier because they are less educated,” said Akademikerne, the Danish confederation of professional unions, in its response.
