Making research results freely available will boost innovativeness and reach, association says
The Helmholtz Association, one of the largest public research organisations in Germany, has adopted a policy of open science, stipulating that all scholarly articles, research data and software produced at its centres must be freely available.
“Open science thus becomes the standard for publication,” the association said in a statement.
