UCU to keep pressure on after three days of strikes

London rally hears employers are “back in the room” to negotiate, a claim universities deny

Members of the University and College Union must “keep the pressure on” employers after the end of three days of strike action, UCU general secretary Jo Grady told a rally yesterday.

Speaking at the London rally to mark the end of the latest round of strike action, Grady said that despite the “historic” level of industrial action, members “cannot take anything for granted”.
