Rathenau Institute to explore role of social media in spreading negative views of science
Public trust of science is relatively high in the Netherlands, but some people remain deeply sceptical—and the Rathenau Institute is launching a research project to engage with them.
The aim of the science policy think tank’s project, announced on 19 March, is to determine where distrust in science among Dutch people comes from and the extent to which social media plays a role in spreading it.
