National research funding agency is not following health charities in adding requirements to grant rules
The national funding agency UK Research and Innovation has stepped back from playing a coordinating role in a sector-wide agreement on environmentally sustainable research.
Yesterday, a voluntary concordat on limiting the environmental impact of research was launched, committing signatories to “deliver real change by 2050”. UKRI is one of 18 initial signatories and played a coordinating role in developing the concordat.
