Proposals aim to maintain access to university courses for Dutch nationals

The Dutch government is working on measures to balance the internationalisation of higher education and accessibility for domestic students.

The outgoing science and education minister Robbert Dijkgraaf (pictured) is developing a bill that forms part of broader measures to manage internationalisation. His draft plan has been submitted for comments to the country’s education council, while universities and colleges have been asked to submit their own suggestions on tackling the issues.
