Agreement with Czech research organisation will aid development of prototype fusion energy plant
The UK Atomic Energy Authority has signed an agreement with a Czech research organisation to build and operate a test rig that will provide “critical” data for the development of a prototype fusion energy plant in the UK.
The authority announced on 2 May that it had reached a multi-year agreement with the CVŘ in the Czech Republic for the testing of high-temperature superconducting tapes.
