Priorities agreed for flood and coastal erosion research

England and Wales to prioritise topics including studying the economic benefits of various interventions

The English and Welsh governments have adopted priorities for research into flooding and coastal erosion up to 2028, categorised into eight topics.

Announced on 8 May, the topics include adaptation to coastal change, the economic benefits of certain investments, and what role digital technology can play in tackling the issues.
