Centre for Policy Studies paper also calls for cap on international student numbers
The government should scrap the graduate route visa and introduce an overall cap on the number of international students coming to the UK, according to right-wing think tank the Centre for Policy Studies.
In a report published on 8 May, the CPS said the graduate route visa—which allows students to remain in the UK for two or three years after they graduate, dependent on their course—had been created with “good intentions” but was now a “back door” route into the UK.
